Brain Training and Auditory Processing

I braved the mall today to look for a pair of chocolate brown pants (which are the wrong color for this year) and came up empty handed. However, I discovered a gem of a store called Marbles, The Brain Store, which is a franchise for games to improve mental processes. The games are geared for children and for adults. I was amazed to see Posit Science’s program being sold there. I used that one myself and signifcantly improved my auditory processing ability. I found another peogram called MindSpring which is a fraction of the cost. It is a computer program that uses both auditory and visual exercises to improve processing speeds and working memory. I bought one for myself to try out. So check them out and if there is a store in your area, please visit it. You will be amazed at the fun things that are available to help not only your children but yourself as well.
